Teacher plays an important role for compassing students’ future direction. As for me, this noble profession gives me an opportunity to build strong characteristic within my students, physically and emotionally. Education is about life long learning, teaching provide me more than that, more than just deepen my knowledge and skills in my major field of education, it is also make me concern on the real education system and situation in our country. Being part of my responsibility to cater the need of our future leader by giving them facilitation and guidance in line with the current education position.
The seminars that I attended, the courses that I taking part and the action research that I have been conducted, widest my experiences and directly open my eyes, my heart and my mind on our education issue and phenomenon tremendously discusses . If prior to this I only able to hear and do not interest to intervene, now everything seem to change, I become sensitive to the young and adult learner, I felt called to addressing all the problem that emerge, being my obligation to think on the appropriate way to solve this problem.
In fact, I wish that I could changes young generation perception on learning, learning is not motionless, it is evolving and not merely for examination purposes, I want my students to realize that knowledge is the guidance in lost , it the light in the dark, correction in wrong, and need for improvement from time to time, what we called it as continuous learning. Providing my student with the moral and noble value as value – add for my student in the future is also part of my task as a teacher.
Hopefully, I will have enough energy and strength to confront with my student and to comply the need of our country education system and may The One Who Knows Everything will also by my side and bless all my ways..InsyaAllah..
